Hello, I’m Isla! I am currently a student at Pedro Menendez High School and have been born and raised in St. Augustine, Florida. I am excited to be working part-time as a reservationist for St. Augustine Sailing because I love interacting with people and learning about their stories. Whether it’s helping customers achieve their sailing goals or experience their lifelong sailing dreams, I am happy to assist them on their journey.
My mom has also worked for St. Augustine Sailing for the last few years, and during St Augustine Sailing’s Annual Ladybug Event, I came to offer assistance. It was then that I instantly fell in love with this amazing organization and knew I wanted to be a part of it. Since I started, I have been able to take the ASA 101 course and earn my certification! Now, I am hooked and endeavoring to gain more time on the water and learn more myself.
Being a local, I’ve always had a deep love for the water and now “Sailing” and working here allows me to combine my passion with my job. I look forward to helping you make unforgettable memories on the water!
