A testament to this strong bond is how several of our USCG captains started their journey with us. Many were first introduced to St Augustine Sailing as customers—enjoying sailing charters, taking lessons, or joining our sailing club. From there, their passion for sailing grew, and they pursued the necessary steps to become licensed captains. Some even took it a step further, continuing their education to become ASA-certified instructors. This journey, from customer to crew, highlights the genuine connections we foster, not only among our team but also with those who come aboard to experience sailing with us.
