Meticulously maintained and lovingly cared for, Moonraker stands out as a performance cruiser ready for open water or coastal cruising. Her custom keel draws just 5’6″, providing excellent stability and flexibility for navigating shallower waters. The performance mast has been thoughtfully shortened to be ICW-friendly, and new rigging throughout, making her a perfect choice for exploring inland waterways. Whether you’re planning to cross oceans or enjoy weekend getaways, the Jeanneau 44i ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience.
With a legacy of resilience and elegance, the 2011 Jeanneau 44i Performance embodies the ideal balance between seaworthiness and luxury. Designed for long-term voyaging, she offers all the features needed for extended journeys, including spacious living quarters and the equipment required for serious bluewater cruising. From her history of transatlantic crossings to her adventures along the Gulf Coast, the Jeanneau 44i is more than just a sailboat—it’s a lifestyle. If you’re seeking a vessel with a proven track record and modern upgrades, Moonraker is an excellent choice to embark on your next journey.
The Jeanneau 44I is perfect for no matter what kind of sailing you enjoy – from day sailing to cruising with the family. Moonraker is a 3 Cabin / 2 head layout with the Master V-berth and en suite head. The Galley has a 3 burner stove top and oven gimbaled; double sinks with water maker output.
The Jeanneau 44i is primarily constructed with a hand-laid fiberglass hull, featuring a monolithic construction with a gelcoat finish, and includes Kevlar reinforcement in key areas like the bow and front bulkhead.
The mast is conventional, deck-stepped aluminum design with a two-spreader rig, allowing for a spinnaker pole track and vertical stowing.
