The shared Sip N Sail excursion experience is crafted for a maximum of six passengers and our private sails can hold up to 12 passengers. “That’s something that really sets us apart from other sailing excursions,” explains Rose Ann. “Other sailing experiences are on ships that carry a lot more people. You’re either going to end up sailing with a couple dozen other passengers or on a vessel less luxurious. Our vessels are modern sailing yachts with lots of luxurious upgrades. Whether you choose to bring two, four or six people, there’s going to be plenty of room to spread out and relax.”
WHEN ARE WE LEAVING AND WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Whether you’re looking for sunshine or sunset, we’ve got you covered. The Sip N Sail experience can depart as early as 9am and as late as an hour before sunset and can be booked for a 1- or 2-hour sail. This is an excursion that can easily fit into the most jam-packed schedule, because you decide when you want to depart! Have early dinner reservations? No problem, book an early afternoon sail. Want to kick the night off with drinks on the water? Sunset’s your time. Early risers own the morning departure.
Once the captain casts off the dock lines, your yacht will go where the wind takes it…within reason (The Bahamas are nice, but a bit further than our time window allows). “We’ll always get some sailing in,” exclaims Rose Ann. “That’s the best part! I love it when the engine is turned off and you’re under full sail… all you hear is the sound of the water splashing the hull, the wind in your hair and the warmth of the sun on your face.” Even on a blustery day, the bay offers sublime sailing, fun for experienced boaters and those just getting their sea legs.

Morning sails are accompanied by refreshing mimosas. Our afternoon and evening sails offer a delicious sampling of 3-5 seasonal wines, featuring Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Moscato and Sauvignon Blanc. Our featured Sip N Sail wines come from the California winery, Canyon Road. “The winemaker, Rafael Jofre, comes from an Argentinian and Spanish background, both producers of beautiful wines,” says food and beverage curator, Amberle. “This winery features crisp, fruity varietals that are bold, yet approachable. They’re the ideal wines for a casual sail.” Passengers are encouraged to let us know about their wine tastes when they’re booking. Any additional beverages can be purchased through our office at check-in. St. Augustine Sailing maintains an extensive drinks list, including local craft beers, domestic and imported brews, seltzers and canned cocktails, as well as an array of wines from rose to sparkling that will suit any palate. We do not offer red wine on our vessels.

Our Sip N Sail departures can be upgraded with a variety of food services. On longer sails groups can add brunch, which includes a thoughtful selection of brunch items tucked in a keepsake epicurean box, or appetizers for a light afternoon snack. One-hour sails can be enhanced by our scrumptious charcuterie boards, designed to feed two, four or six passengers. Please inquire with our office for pricing.

Be sure to bring your adventurous spirit! Our shared Sip N Sail accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers and begins at $99 per person. We do also offer privates sails for up to 12 passengers. This excursion is for adults 21 years of age and older only. Passengers are asked to wear comfortable shoes with non-marking soles. Our vessels are berthed at the Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor, which offers plentiful parking – no worrying about finding parking downtown! Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your departure. Advanced reservations are highly recommended, as our captains will need time to prepare the vessel.
