Here at St. Augustine Sailing, we love our Jeanneaus! This French company has been in the boat-building business since the 19th century, so to say they have some experience may be an understatement. In fact, they’re world-renowned experts in their craft. Jeanneaus are built to a high standard, with quality materials and techniques, and offer a very stylish design. They always give a great sailing experience. The fleet currently has seven Jeanneaus:

Far Niente – Learn more about the owners here
Far Niente is a true cruising sailboat, designed to hit the deep, blue water. She was built with stability, safety and offshore voyages in mind. Don’t let that fool you! The 440 maneuvers like a classic Jeanneau, even in inland waterways. It has a secure cockpit, with long benches made for long conversations over a glass of something special. Far Niente is 44’ long and can accommodate up to 10 guests.
LAGOONS
After several unusual design requests, including a call from Hollywood to design trimarans for the Kevin Costner sailing epic, Waterworld, Jeanneau recognized the need for an innovative group of craftsmen to focus on the design and construction of multihull vessels. Lagoon was born. With its roots in racing, Lagoon catamarans were designed to be powerful, technically advanced and luxurious cruisers, built for the American charter market. Our Lagoon Catamaran serves as an educational platform for our ASA Catamaran Cruising class.

HUNTERS
The leader in North American sailboat and yacht manufacturing, Marlow Hunter has been producing boats for 40 years. With a diverse catalog of sailing vessels, Hunters have a design for every stage of a sailor’s life. Our two Hunters are the perfect boats for our Intro to Sailing program.
