Weekend Charters
Most of our guests who charter for a couple of days stay in the St.
Augustine area, day sailing offshore or in the Intracoastal. The St.
Augustine downtown area is not to be missed with its historic sites, excellent restaurants, nightlife and
shopping just a short drive from our docks!
South of St. Augustine, Florida, by about 18 miles is the Palm Coast Marina and Resort. This modern marina provides guests with a pool and spa, tennis courts, and three championship golf courses. There is also transportation available to the beach.
If you have more time to spare perhaps a leisurely trip north is for you.
Fernandina Beach
Fernandina Beach is a sleepy seaside town located on the St. Mary's River, which creates the border between Georgia and Florida. Fernandina Harbor Marina is located just one block from the city. Restaurants shopping and beaches are all within walking distance.
Cumberland Island
Just north of the inlet lies Cumberland Island. The first of the Georgia 'sea islands' Cumberland was once a vacation home for the Nation's elite. Now a national park, all kinds of wildlife abounds, including wild horses. There are ruins of old mansions from days past, as well as the Grayfield Inn, a bed and breakfast. There are no vehicles on the island and 18 miles of pristine beach make Cumberland a very private place. There is a good anchorage off of the main ferry dock.
